<div itemprop="description"> <p> Brian Douras Monaghan <br /> Peacefully, surrounded by family on Wednesday, February 20, 2013, leaving behind his cherished wife Vera (n&eacute;e Edmonds) of 55 years; his children Sheila (Philip Sim), Shannon (David MacDonald), Sherri-Lee (Jeremy Russell), Erin, Kerri (Alan Patrick), Sean (Laura Hach&eacute;) and Kenny; his grandchildren David, Devon, Matthew, Amanda, Courtney, Colin, Kayla, Anthony, Jonathan, Brittni, Tara, Declan, Ryanne, Quinton and Piper; his great-grandchildren Isabelle, Ethan and Taylor; his sister Leona (Harry Lalonde); extended family and friends. Predeceased by his parents, Patrick and Margaret; his children Colleen, Michael and Sean; his brothers Kenneth and Patrick and his sisters Dorothy and Kathleen. Brian's greatest gift to his family was the love and caregiving he provided to Vera following her strokes. Brian's family would like to thank the staff of the Ottawa ALS Clinic and the ALS Society for their care and guidance. You will have our continued support.
