Danny had a love for jazz music, and serenaded many friends and family with his saxophone over the years. He had a passion for life, learning, travel, and was a visionary agent of change in all his professional endeavors.

Adoring husband and partner of Zana Gjula for 27 years and loving and supportive father of Franz and Daniel. Cherished son of Marianne Adams and the late Marcel Lyonnais and dear brother of Anne Lyonnais and Susan Lyonnais. Loving son-in-law of Jakov and Katica Adzija, and brother-in-law of Mirjana, Robert (Mandy), John (Gabriela), and Jasna (Dan). Also missed by his aunts, Erika Adams Guertin (Martial), Marthe Lyonnais, uncles, late Hans Adams (late Inge), late Roger Lyonnais (late Hugette), nieces and nephews, Heidi, Kevin, Daniel, Jake, Anders, Lexie, Ava, and Andrew. He will be fondly remembered by many friends and colleagues throughout Canada, and extended family in Canada, Germany, and Croatia.

Family and friends may pay their respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 3000 Woodroffe Avenue, Barrhaven on Sunday from 4-8pm.
