<div itemprop="description">Mion, Luigi <p> Founder of Central Precast </p> <p> It is with great sadness that the Mion family announces the passing of Luigi Mion on Tuesday June 26, 2012, at the age of 84 years. Devoted husband of Ada (Berardini) of 54 years. Loving father of John (Nives), Marcella (Dominic) Licari, Rodolfo (Rita), and Anna (Matteo) Falcucci. Cherished Nonno of Vanessa, John, Marco, Stefano, Monica, Carlo, Lisa, Cristina, Luigi, Paolo, Julia, Alessandra, Anna Maria, Veronica, and Anthony. Predeceased by his parents Giovanni and Marcellina of S. Andrat, Udine, Italy. Dear brother of Gustavo (Teresa) of Ottawa, and Maria (late Francesco), Giovanna (late Guido), Teresina (Felice), Anna (late Antonio), late Dina (late Joseph), late Marco (Anita), and Giuliana (Gino) all of Italy. Dear brother-in-law of Vittoria (late Maurino) Paradiso, Liliana (Luigi) Mazzarello, Teresa (Alfredo) Maiolo, Franco (Yolanda) all of Ottawa, and Giovanni (Chiara) of Italy. Also missed by many nieces and nephews. </p> <p> Luigi was the founder of Central Precast, Utility Structures, and M-Con Products since 1956. He was a Past President, Chair of Fundraising, and proud supporter of Villa Marconi and was a supporter of numerous other charities and organizations. Luigi was the proud recipient of many prestigious awards from the City of Ottawa, Canada, and Italy. </p> <p> Friends may pay their respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 3000 Woodroffe Avenue, Barrhaven on Thursday from 1-5 and 7-9pm. . Funeral Friday June 29, 2012 to St. Anthony&rsquo;s Church for Mass of Christian Funeral at 11:30am. Entombment to follow at Capital Memorial Gardens.
