Yantha, Noel

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Noel Yantha on Saturday, March 19. He had joyously celebrated his milestone 60th birthday on January 1. Noey will be deeply missed by his beloved wife and best friend, Patricia (Bloskie) and his adored sons Jason and Justin. He is predeceased by his parents Alex and Agnes, and infant siblings Glen and Charlotte. He is remembered with love and respect by brothers Clifford (Carol), David (Kathy), Alvin, and Danny (Jennifer), and sisters Nancy Sernoskie (Alan), Arlene Corrigan (Dennis), Gail Ellis (Larry), and Lynnette Weatherall. He will be missed by his father in law Dominic (late Rita), Michael and Catherine Bloskie, Rachel and Charlie Stamplecoskie, and Lorraine Kutchkoskie. He was a proud godfather to Tracy, Karen, and Kelsey, and loved uncle, nephew, and cousin to many. He will be missed by many friends, especially Keith. Noey will be remembered for his love of family and his kind, gentle spirit and helpful nature. He was as comfortable in his adopted suburb of Barrhaven as he was in his native Ottawa Valley towns of Killaloe and Wilno. Noey loved sports, as a player and as a fan, and his passion for the Sens and Blue Jays brought comfort during his determined and dignified battle against cancer. He has given us the gift of many happy memories that we will treasure forever. Cremation will be followed by a celebration of life in the spring.
